"Pentimenti" is a full scale theatrical musical production, involving a large cast and crew of over 100 people. With music by Waterford`s Bryan Flynn, specially arranged and conducted by Riverdance musical director - David Hayes and lyricised by Dublin`s Damien Slattery, the show explores the nature of Germanic history through the ideals and struggles of it s people during the years 19 35 - 1945. Populated by extremely colourful characters and primarily concerning a Jewish family, all caught in an unenviable odyssey and race against time to escape the flattening effects of fascism, with whatever dignity and joy they can muster. Relocated to the Polish workcamp of Sobibor the family become embroiled in a plan to escape and through turns of theatrical magic and suspense, we witness the outcome and final retribution to a unique story of insurmountable odds and the human spirit that refuses to be quenched.
